Branded vs Unbranded Listing Links: What Agents Should Confirm

A simple guide to branded and unbranded real estate media links for MLS, marketing, sellers, and client review.

Real estate media delivery can include branded and unbranded links when the platform and package allow it. Agents should confirm this before booking because different uses can require different link types.

A branded link can include the agent, brokerage, team, or listing presentation context where allowed. It is useful for social posts, seller updates, email campaigns, and client-facing marketing.

An unbranded link removes visible agent or brokerage branding. This can be needed for MLS or board-specific rules. Requirements vary, so the agent should confirm what their listing workflow requires before the media package is delivered.

Why this should be confirmed early

Branded and unbranded delivery is easier to handle when the requirement is known before the shoot. Waiting until after launch can create extra back-and-forth and delay the listing workflow.

Send the brokerage or MLS requirement with the booking if it is specific.

What Snap Spaces needs from you

Before booking real estate photography, provide the property address, listing type, deadline, package, brokerage or MLS formatting needs, and whether the delivery should include branded and unbranded options.

If the scope is standard, use Book a Shoot. If the requirement is unusual, use Request a Quote.

Need listing media scoped for a property?

Send the address, property type, square footage, media needs, deadline, and access notes. Snap Spaces will confirm the package, travel, and timing before the shoot.
